From an early age, she found her greatest passion in singing, but Ava also discovered her greatest challenge with the onset of Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 4. Both have made August who she is today, contributing to the creativity, drive, and determination that continuously set her apart in her music and athletics and make many take notice of this young teen and her talents. With a near future EP release, August talks to TPFG about the process of songwriting, her inspirations and dreams. And via the strong, soulful voice we heard throughout the shoot, we can only imagine the magic journey that Ava August is about to begin. This is her story.
